Final Mock w/ Comps

With the cuts we've made, MoneyHungry Mike pricing himself out of free agency and the comp picks determined, this is what I see:

1. Alabama ILB Dont'a Hightower - I know an obvios pick but a definate need with how thin we are here!
2. Iowa State G Kelechi Osemele - can play RT also but his is a mauler in the run game!
3. Miami(OH) RG Brandon Brooks - the more I see about him the more I like and this could shore up the interior for years to come!!!
4. Utah State RB Robert Turbin - Turbin is a sleeper prospect who has some speed and is extremely strong.
5. Northwestern TE Drake Dunsmore - versitile player with good hands...
6. Michigan WR Junior Hemingway - great hands and we still don't know who we have after Sanders...

7. Oregon State FB Joe Halahuni - Let the running game return!!!
comp1. Texas A&M K Randy Bullock - voted best kicker in college this year....
comp2. South Carolina St S Christian Thompson - big kid at 6' 211 lbs with excellent speed! Would love to grab him...
comp3. TCU CB/KR Greg McCoy - kid has speed to burn!!!

Hightowers from Alabama, I think in the 4th the Steelers take Trent Robinson Michigan St and 5th round Delvin Johnson NT/5tech Marshall. In the 7th or A comp pick I'd like to have Scott Wedige OC/OG NIU.

If Lamar Miller is available in the 2nd round Tomlin might take him. Its being said that he really likes him.

I did a mock where we took Miller in the 2nd but I don't think we take him in the 1st....

What's wrong with your draft is that you are not addressing the most immediate need on this team. And that's nose tackle.

Steelers are going to take a nose tackle with one of their first two picks.

What about a comp pick used on Toney Clemons out of Colorado at WR? Steelers are meeting with him later this month. Seems he could be had in the 7th round or a UDFA

NT is the 3rd biggest need on the team, Guard and MLB are bigger needs. Between Hood, Mcclendon, Woods, and probably anthony gray again along with hampton probbaly being a contributor at some point they could find a guy or a rotation there that would work. i like chapman, but taking a NT to take a NT is dumb
