If Gay leaves it won't break my heart either. He isn't a great cover guy. Yes he was better last year but what if that was just an apparition? He's more suited as a nickelback. And I can bet he's looking for starting money. I'm not sold the Steelers or anyone else for that matter will pay him that. If the Titans don't sign him after the gapping hole Finnegan left them chances are he might be back at a low price to antagonize us once more.

If he comes at a cheap price, I wouldn't mind him returning on a one-year contract. Ike and Lewis should start, with Gay being the nickel. If Gay begins to regress, bench him immediately (none of this "keep him in when he sucks" crap!) and start to give the two young guys some rotation time. Then cut him next year.
