Ryan Clark
Troy even admitted himself that he's not a vocal leader. He's a playmaker on the field, no doubt about it but he's a quiet guy, not a fire up the troops type of player. I think he'll have a role in leadership but it's not his forte.
Woodley is a good choice, but I also think Foote can easily slide into that role. He's been there done that and has the experience to back it up.
Foote, Woodley and Clark on D- Ben needs to be a vocal leader along with Pouncey and I think Antonio Brown can lead by example!
I've heard big ben mic'd up and he sounds like a terrible leader. But I guess him and brown are the best option for offense

i have to say, ive been fairly impressed with hightower. most mocks that ive seen have him going to us and i cant say that that disappoints me. after watching some interviews with him he seems to be quite a bit more intelligent than i had expected. should we pick him, i think that at some point he will become a leader for us. probably not this year, i think its a pretty good bet that he wont step into a leadership role immediately, but from what ive seen he appears to be very capable of becoming a leader in a relatively short amount of time.
hightower will end up rookie of the year defense, pro bowl, leader, mvp on defense... we just wont pick him.
every year i pick my favorite and we dont get him, so im picking konz...
The ghost of Bruce Arians will be all the leadership we need![]()
Who will be Todd Haley's first victim on national TV ...... and when?
I don't claim to know all the politics governing the huddle, but Pouncey should put his foot down and put the leadership role thing to rest for the offense. Big Ben is the crunch time guy but for the grind, i would look to Pouncey if i were a player. both are leaders from what I can tell and we all know Ben will want to succeed at all costs (see Cleveland game last year). On defense, Keisel should hold court. Polamalu is a different type of leader, one who is instinctive, which is usually hard to teach. Between Woodley and Keisel, I think leadership is not lacking in the LeBeau kingdom.
