Steelers offensive line prospects combine results

Adams had a rough go of it in the bench press, only did 19 reps. The 3 cone drill and the 20 yd. shuffle are pretty important for an offensive lineman, maybe not quite as much as the bench but still. Cordy Glenn actually did the worst (relatively speaking) out of the major names the Steelers figure to have interest in. I'd still take him in a hot second though.

    Mike Adams
    - OSU
    • 40 yd dash - 5.40
    • Bench press - 19
    • Vertical Jump - 28.5
    • Broad Jump - 100.0
    • 3 cone drill - 7.94
    • 20 yd shuffle - 4.95

    Cordy Glenn
    - Georgia

    • 40 yd dash - 5.15
    • Bench press - 31
    • Vertical Jump - 23.5
    • Broud Jump - 93.0
    • 3 cone drill - 8.13
    • 20 yd shuffle - 5.00

    Kevin Zeitler
    - Wisconsin

    • 40 yd dash - 5.39
    • Bench press - 32
    • Vertical Jump - 29.0
    • Broad Jump - 101.0
    • 3 cone drill - 7.77
    • 20 yd shuffle - 4.61

    Kelechi Osemele
    - Iowa State

    • 40 yd. dash - 5.36
    • Bench press - 32
    • Vertical Jump - 26.5
    • Broad Jump - 104.0
    • 3 cone drill - 7.91
    • 20 yd shuffle - 4.87

    Lucas Nix
    - Pittsburgh

    • 40 yd dash - 5.43
    • Bench press - n/a
    • Vertical Jump - 29.5
    • Broad Jump - 102.0
    • 3 cone drill - 7.81
    • 20 yd shuffle - 4.90

Good stuff, BRC. Zeitler seems pretty athletic from those numbers. I like Glenn as well. Seems like I flip flop daily on going with Poe or off. line in the 1st rd. lol

I am partial to Poe, but something tells me he will be gone if our pick stays at 24.
Glenn had an awesome day when you consider his size and wing span. He has the second longest arms among the linemen and to run that fast at his size was something to see. I wonder if the 19 reps for Adams will cause him to drop to 24?
If we get to choose between Poe and O-line, I think you take Poe because there is O-line depth that will be there in the second. If Poe is gone and Hightower is on the board with Glenn or Adams, that is interesting.

Zeitler is helping his cause with those combine numbers, still projected in the 2nd round from what I've heard but wouldn't be a bad choice there.
