I will say though BG32, "reeled in" maybe isn't the best word to use but I think Ben can improve. His game can evolve into more of a roll where he can look for the short passes more often, even if the big play down the field appears to be available. That's the main thing I think he can work on. His ability to make plays goes without question but everybody can improve over time.
How about actually having an OC that is going to use his RB's as legit options in the passing game?..........BA never took advantage of Mendenhall's skills in the passing game........The problem with the offense was mainly play calling in the red zone and no imagination by BA to use all of his weapons on offense.......I agree Ben deserves some of the blame but I do think that both BA and Ben got caught up with all the talent at the WR position and neglected the other options at times.....That is why BA had to go and hopefully Haley instead of just using the RB's as dump offs actually draws up plays for them....Make everybody an option......

I completely agree. Make everyone an option.
JUst a side note: New england got better on Offense when they got rid off Randy Moss. Why because Brady didn't have to cater to or sole rely on Moss. They developed an quicker passing game However they did miss having a deep threat this year and will bring one in to add to there weapons.

President Art Rooney II said new offensive coordinator Todd Haley was a surprise selection – perhaps even to Mike Tomlin. “I don't think he expected that Todd was the guy [to hire],” Rooney told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Thursday. “But as he had more conversations with him, he became more comfortable that he was the right guy."
