cowher was a hoax of a head coach...will always be a tv face and a great motivator but was marty ball jr when it mattered and was never an x's and 'o guy.

plus i hated his personnell policies...just kept his favorites in way to long anf i feel sorry for any team that want to build a team into a contender from a non contender that hires cowher to be their hero and give him the GM duties he wants

I liked Cowher, but during his run the team never had an identity. He had all the pieces he needed for multipul SB's but could never put it together. Bettis and a few others made Cowher look like a better coach than he really was.....IMO.
