    Where it was lost.

Demaryius Thomas had but 4 catches. But he had 204 yards!!!!! That's and average of 51 yards per catch!!!!! Going into OT he had 3 catches for 124 yards and an average of over 41 yards!

But look closer. Tim Tebow at game's end had only 9 completions for 236 yards. So Demaryius Thomas accounted for 1/3 of his completions and over 50% of the yardage!!

Play calling aside, why was this receiver permitted to run free down the middle? At least interfere or hold. You're still in the game. But no, he was permitted free range in the middle of the field.

Simply put, the wrong defense was called and the wrong defender was assigned. It's that simple at that point.

Further investigation will prove out that poor offensive play calling throughout the year resulted in injuries and underachievement. Tonight this also put our beloved Steelers in the postion they found themselves. But aside from all these factors, defensive play calling was also well below the bar for what we expect.
HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!!!!!

It was lost when the Steelers settled for field goals in the first quarter. It was lost in the 2nd quarter when the offense couldn't move the ball and the defense couldn't stop anybody. It was lost by the lack of a pass rush, injuries, and poor secondary play. It was a total team meltdown at the worse times. You can't cover up all those deficiencies all the time, sooner or later they'll bite you.

O-line needs to seriously be rebuilt. With an addition of atleast two guys. And Ryan Clark
not being back there made a difference.

They missed Ryan Clark today big time. He usually makes the right defensive calls and that's what happened.
The Steeler way...is the only way.

The hell are you guys talking about o-line for? Ben was throwing **** passes all day and was taking forever to get rid of the ball on several occasions. This guy doesn't know how to throw a timing pattern to save his life.

The loss is ultimately on Ike Taylor and LeBeau's inability to adjust, but Ben had a terrible first half.

It was lost when BA picked up his box of 144 crayolas and schemed his 'onslaught.'

Actually Ike Taylor did hold and interfere. The stats would have been even WORSE

Random thoughts on the loss: 1. Where was our pass rush? It didn't exist. Was Denver's O line that great? 2. Injuries happen but we had more than our share this year. This brings up the question about conditioning. Or simply are we too old and out of shape?3. Our CBs were toasted today! Ike is not as good as he is made out to be. 4. Lebeau didn't get the job done today in making the necessary defensive adjustments. Oh well, thanks Steelers for all your efforts this year, but changes must be made or it will be the same or worse next year.
