Embarrassed to be a Steelers fan

It's been a long time since I've felt like that, not since the loss to the Chargers in the AFC Championship. I know the Steelers would've never won the Superbowl with all the injuries and this coaching staff, but losing to an 8-8 team with a QB that has a sub 80 QB rating and was shutdown by the Bills and Chiefs the last two weeks of the season has truly made me embarrassed to be a Steelers fan. At least when we lost to the Chargers I could blame good ole' Neil, but now I have to blame Omar Epps, which seems like a cop out to other sports fans, but they just don't know how miserable of a coach he really is.

I'm going to go to sleep and dream of Tomlin disappearing and Cowher or Fisher becoming the head coach. (yeah yeah, Cowher only won one Superbowl. Coincidentally he won that Superbowl only one year after getting a real quarterback).

We're all pissed off and disgusted right now, but don't lose hope. There are things that can and will change in the coming months. Tomlin, Lebeau, the players, everyone is to blame.

I'm not embarrassed. This team wasn't going to the Super Bowl anyway, so thankfully I get to decompress now. I'm actually relieved. Allow me to count the ways:

1. We can now begin our long-overdue search for a new offensive coordinator.

2. We can look forward to cutting all the dead weight off the roster.

3. All our injured players who are coming back can begin healing for next season.

4. We now know where our draft position is, and can put together a draft board.

The injuries alone made it clear that this team wasn't going to the Super Bowl anyway, so now we can move on and change things that need to be changed for 2012.

Tomlin still hasnt impressed me as a coach. You see more of tomlins draft picks now and there not really stepping up. Timmons has been a huge dissapointment this year. I thought he was really gonna break out.

He does but it is much easier to blame Tomlin.

exactly...we are all upset...this team has not played well all year...we were lucky to pull off as many wins as we did...

I will NEVER be embarrassed to be a Steelers Fan...

If you're embarrassed by losing to Denver , imagine how you'd feel after Tom Brady hung 50 points on this team.

The team was as unprepared as I've ever seen it! They paid no respect to Tebow throwing the ball at all and it bit them in the ***.
