What I have Learned About Coaching Hires

Typically if the "potential coach" says stuff like "I am not the new coach at Pittsburgh!" or "I would never take the Pittsburgh job, I am happy where I am!"

Generally they are lying but have been given the stfu text message from the team owner.

    Doth thou protest too much?

If he says Im not the new coach, then I would hope he's just covering his *** until the team announces something official. If he says I dont want the job then he wasnt the right guy anyways.

Nick's track record speaks for itself. Everywhere he goes he leaves the team in worse atleast status quo shape then when he left.

I agree, his welcome will be worn out sooner or later, and when it does he'll bolt for greener pastures (atleast in his own mind ) if not before.
