Hats off to Maholm for a good pitching performance. 7 innings of 3 hit ball....I was ready to kill him after that shaky first inning, but he recovered nicely.....holding fingers that bullpen doesn't blow it .....

Bucs might bo ok with nady laroche and bay at the core of lineup add another soid pitcher to go with Snell and Gorzo and add a good leadoff man and we might be talking something then

Sounds good. Wouldn't mind seeing Wilson go. He looked good a few years ago...but bat is too weak.

My God, the Buccos really suck. I'm starting to think about becoming a Cubs fan, since they traded for Jason Kendall, and I can watch their games on WGN.

How sad is that?

To think....I was actually encouraged by their play prior to the All Star Break. Problem with me switching allegiences is that I have my choice of the Nationals or the Orioles. Let's go Pirates!!!
