Rams vs Steelers

The Steelers limp back to Heinz Field on a short week after losing to the 49ers on the road on Monday night. At 10-4, the Steelers have at least the 5th seed locked up for the NFL playoffs but there is still an outside chance they could win the division but that's far from a likely scenario to see unfold.

The status of Ben Roethlisberger is still in question for this week; if he doesn't play then Charlie Batch will get the start. Lamarr Woodley figures to play according to Tomlin, after being pulled in the 4th quarter from what he described as fatigue.

Emmanuel Sanders is questionable as well with the lingering foot injury.

As of Friday, Charlie Batch will start at QB. Ben may dress as emergency QB. Sanders, Pouncey, Moore, are out. James Harrison is back, and Lamarr Woodley will play.

No reason Steelers can't win this game with Batch. Would like to see Dixon more, but suspect he may be utilized in some wildcat type formations...and in throwing deep to Wallace.

I would expect a heavy dose of Rashard today....I have no problem with that since the Rams are very bad against the run....Only question....Can the OL dominate the LOS for the running game to control the game.....I don't expect the Rams offense to do very much against the Steelers D......

isn't mendy banged up as well? hope to see redman get more carries today. and i really hope that we get out of this game without any more injuries...holy crap. in the offseason the entire team should be frozen in ice Captain America style.

have to watch the game on the computer...puke...will try to be involved in the game thread though.

Nobody said that Dixon lead the Steelers to their 7th Lombardi........Most here on SA were always behind Ben......Ben should start today and I really don't expect old man Charlie to last to long....one big wind gust and Charlie will be put on IR.....
