    Yep Dan Rooney was very influential in Goodell becoming commish.....I bet Mr. Rooney regrets supporting and helping Goodell now......

    The committee to hire a new commissioner , after Tagliabue was headed by the rooney's and they helped convince the rest of the committee to hire him.
