Im all for that because if the Bengals do win out that means they would have given both the Texans and Ravens both 1 more loss each, and assuming the Steelers win out these last 4 games that would mean the Steelers would get the number 1 seed even if the Patriots win out as well and finish at 13-3 because they own the head to head over the Pats. The Bengals play both the Texans and Ravens in Cincinnati as well so that could give them a potential edge in both of those games...
No doubt, we are all Bengals fans right now and fans of anyone who plays the Ravens the rest of the way.
If the playoffs started today the Steelers would be going to Denver, and while that may still happen I'm not completely thrilled with having to go and play the Broncos at Mile High. They've got a ton of confidence right now and unless you get up by 21 points with 2 minutes to go, Tebow is liable to come back and bite you.
Cincy has a very good defense.....The Ravens offense is madly inconsistent but Ray Rice is a beast......The Bengals can beat the Ravens in Cincy especially if they're still fighting for a play-off spot......The Chargers blow chunks right now but still have a talented roster and its never easy for a team to travel coast to coast to play a game.....The Ravens could lose one or two games.......
IF KC can continue applying pressure like they did vs the Steelers and vs the Bears, and also have Thomas Jones run wild vs his old team, I say they have a shot to beat the Jets. Regardless, it all starts with what the Steelers can control - and that is their own destiny.
I we just need to do our job and not look at anyone elses schedule ,................. except Baltimores lol
