texas a&m has fired mike sherman has their head coach. do you think he would be an upgrade over bruce?
ok, a monkey flinging his poop would be an upgrade, so let me rephrase...do you think he would be a good fit as our OC?

"Today, I'm officially retiring a Pittsburgh Steeler. And as much as I will miss football, my teammates, coaches and everything about the game, I don't want to play it in any other uniform. The black and gold runs deep in me, and I will remain a Steeler for life."--Hines Ward
The Steelers getting a new OC will all depend on Ben and his attachment to BA. Sad, but true. I understand your question for debate, but I just don't see BA getting fired. The only way we get a new OC is if BA steps down and Ben holds interviews.
A blade of grass would be better than BA!
"Happy Happy Happy"
Screw Ben, he is the player... Tomlin needs to upgrade his own coaches.
Its Tomlin's ass not Ben's when the games are lost because of our inept offense.
Lets just blame the OL, BA is safe then.
Oh wait BA.. Lets go 5 wide and watch ben get crushed behind the OL that we blame all the time for our weakness.. 5 wide should never be used..
Look at the last two games. We had maybe one positive play out of like 9 5 wide sets. the rest were sacks or ints or incomplete passes and ben getting hit after the pass.
I wish someone would FIRE at Bruce, . . I thought America was the land of the gun, . . ?come on someone do the right thing!!!
That's what I'll be wishing when I pull the wishbone on Christmas Day anyway . . . .

What about Sherman coming in as an assistant OC or QB coach or something and then taking over the OC role after BA leaves.
Bruce was contemplating retirement heading into this season but since then he's said he's having a good time and is looking forward to continuing to coach in the future. He didn't specify a time necessarily but I wonder if he'd want to actually take on a whole new job in a new environment.
