We really need to sign a vet running back to share carries with Mendenhall or You have to give Dwyer a shot. If we don't get our run game straightened out soon we're probably 2 and done in the playoffs you can not throw the ball like we do in December and January .
The answer to the run game lies with the offensive line blocking well and getting Redman involved too. Mendenhall has been hot and cold almost from one series to the next this season but Redman is consistent in what he does. It remains to be seen if he's the type of back that could carry the load for an entire game, week in and week out, but in his role right now he excels at it.
Dwyer isn't going to dress the rest of the year unless injuries happen unfortunately. It's disappointing though because the dude comes out, had a 100 + yd game and then you don't see him anymore. It's a nice problem to have but at the same time you just can't get everybody the ball.
