Mendenhall....I'm sorry but I'm just not sold on him

I'm watching him tonite against the Chiefs and this guy runs different from week to week. One week he hits the hole, the next week he's sitting back there dancing. I'm just not sold on this guy. His fumbling in big games....plus what we saw from Dwyer a few weeks ago really makes me think we need to open up competition next year for that position.

    Give me your thoughts.
The Steeler way...is the only way.

Mendenhall is still our best back. Each 1 of our backs has his role. To much Moore though, I think Redman needs to be in there on 3rd.

Don't do that. We don't need you. We didn't need you at the beginning, we don't need you now."

Mendenhal is over rated. If he ran hard every play and didnt dance so much he would be descent, but as it stands he is average. I say trade him in the off season if you can get a second round pick for him

He does seem to be real up and down when it comes to effort.

I can't complain about Mendy tonight overall, he was running hard and breaking tackles. He had a 16 yd scamper tonight as well. The Steelers line just could not handle the Chiefs pass rush and front 7 overall.

As much as I hate hate him at times he should have been in when Moore fumbled

He fought hard tonight, I give him his props. The line looked like sh*t.

I also agree that there was too much Moore tonight and not enough Redman.

I agree completely. Too much dancing around looking for a hole. He needs to bust through like other running backs, e.g., Ray Rice.

64 and 85 are not the answer to help mendenhall at all.

on one play late on, he was stonewalled at the LOS and in trying to eek out something was still carrying the ball loosely with one hand in his usual out-stretched arm fashion, very foolish.

I'm not sold on him either, he's just okay in my eyes, he's no top tier back nor will he ever be.
