    STEELRS mistakes...

They were many of them. Gay didn't have a good game . Some lousy penalties that were big. Ben's interception was HUGE !! At the time we were finally getting some momentum going and that pass was flat out terrible,it wasn't like it was even close to Wallace. If suggs didn't catch it ,I honestly believe it would have fell incomplete...A terrible play that no one seems to be mentioning....

Ben's playcall is going to haunt me in my sleep. He whines for no huddle, he finally gets it, and that's what he does. Really?

These guys being veterans know what damage defensive pass interefence calls do to their team and they found that out tonight. Another thing that bugs me about football is when the ball is being thrown down the field how the hell can you not turn around and try to pick off the damn ball? When i played as a youngster i always kept my eye on the ball and stayed with my man at all possible times. I think keeping your back to the ball is a big mistake. Finally letting your man get open is unacceptable. You have 2-4 other guys in the back field helping out. Stick to your man and stop a play from happening.
But what good is all these words? Game over. Steelers 6-3.

That pick caused a 7 point swing. How many points did we lose this game by?

You know one thing I've learned as I've watched football? Early mistakes are far less damaging than late mistakes. For example, in Super Bowl XLV, Ben's "pick-six" was certainly damaging, but he appeared to be ready to redeem himself for it -- until Rashard Mendenhall fumbled.

Same deal tonight. Ben redeemed himself plenty by getting the Steelers the lead, but the defense decided to party like it was 2009 in the last two and a half minutes of the game.

The sequence that changed everything was Mewelde Moore not looking for the pass on third down, followed by Mike Tomlin sending the kicking team out late and costing the team five years due to a delay of game. Then came the prevent defense...

And if you still want to cry about Ben's INT, then remember that the Ravens offense was stuck inside their own 20-yard line when they got the ball back. The defense really didn't have to let them score a TD, but they did.

Understood but that was the only play that gave up 7? Come on its never one player or one play in a sixty minute game

Can't I cry about Ben's INT and the defense?

Each QB committed one turnover, and all the defense had to do was prevent the Ravens from driving 92 yards in two and a half minutes.

Right. So...can't I blame the INT and the defense?
