we WILL continue to get flags and fines b/c thats the style of play we play and expect in Pittsburgh. we dont and have not played flag football, we play smashmouth balls to the wall-ball. The way our legends did, the way we want our kids to play it. by all means we want player saftey, but we cant control guys "ducking" into a bang bang hit. we are blue collar town and we continue to play that way. we wont intentionally hurt anyone, but we will try to knock their socks off in every aspect of the game. we can not control what the refs call or dont call or what Roger fines or doesnt fine. we can only control the way we play the game and play as best we can. If we get fined or flagged... fine, im okay with that.

Excellent comment! You are exactly correct. Stop complaining about officiating. Defense was terrible, has been pretty bad all season (less the NE game). Officiating had 0% to do with end result. I can't think of many games where the officials effected the outcome over the years. Yes, some calls were missed....just the same as the D missing tackles, committing penalties, failing to get pressure at crucial times, failing to get turnovers, and blowing coverage. Get over it.....officials did NOT effect the outcome of the game. What more can you really ask from an officiating crew.
