the officiating went both ways. it sucked, yes, but it didnt help the ratbirds any more than it helped us.

it wasnt the 92 yard drive that won the game either. that was just the back breaker. Ike was getting burned by Boldin almost at will, Gay was horrendous (as usual), and Mendy was mediocre at best. as a matter of fact if that rookie WR of theirs, #82 whatever his name is, wasnt so butter fingered he would have had TWO TD's instead of one, and at least 2 more 1st downs.

if you want to blame the loss on anything blame it on botched 3rd down stoppage. if you cant get their offense off the field on 3rd down youre going to lose. plain and simple.

then of course theres also the fact that they wore those hideous throwbacks again. christ i hate those fkn uniforms. YELLOW helmets? just for wearing that shit im less upset about the loss. hopefully if they lose every time they wear that crap theyll stop wearing them. EVER.

and that "forward progress" play stoppage on rices 2nd negated TD was deplorable. and i saw at least two seperate instances of steelers holding ratbirds on special teams plays, various illegal contact noncalls on our secondary as well as the garden variety holding noncalls at the LoS, plus all of the times Ike and the rest of the secondary got burned but were lucky enough to have been covering butterfingered WR's.

stop being such a fanboi waving your "the steelers can do no wrong" sign and ignoring the stuff that you dont want to see. for every call that went against the steelers there was one that either wasnt called against them or in some way benefitted them.

the fact is that a lack of being able to stop the the rats on 3rd down is what lost the game. hell, if it werent for LUCK, pure and simple LUCK, on those two tipped passes to cotchery the game wouldnt have been as close as it was.

im sorry if my shoving your nose in reality bothers you but ... well, no actually im not. i hate it when fans of any team bitch about what happened against them but selectively ignore it when iffy calls go their way.

They get stopped on 3rd down same situation but the penalty extends the drive. Pretty sure that was on one of their touchdown drives.

Complete momentum shift based on two plays that should have been called the same way.

I also loved where Collingsworth shows a video package of how great the Ravens are covering Wallace and you see blatant holding impeding Wallace which was never flagged.

You would think this game of all games this year would have had all of these personal fouls called, but to only see them called one way leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

Again though the Steelers inability to get off the field on third down and failure to stop a 92 yard TD drive is why they lost.

But you did go there whiner. lol

I also saw a pass interference on Brown(?) who was held at the waist and spun around when going into the end-zone.

A few near the end of the game were not this bad, but not much better:
Steelers would have won if they'd scored more points.
The Defense will have to step up to win this game.
The Defense will have to stop them on this drive to win the game..

Well, you can't call me a Steelers "homer" but when I saw Ward get hit helmet to helmet and nothing was called, I just thought to myself, this isn't going to be good!

Know it's hard to take but the Steelers are the BETTER team...you're going to end up with a better season than the Ravens and that's what counts!!
