Messed our D linemen up pretty bad last game, will they have a counter attack this game?

Well with a 4 man front you can't really do chop blocking as much, since it'll leave a humongous hole somewhere on the line for another lineman to run through.
However much you think you know about football, rest assured that Skip Bayless knows more!
If they do run the traditional 34 at all this week, remember that Hampton is back. He was victimized by those chop blocks pretty good in the first few weeks of the season and especially in week 1. I'm sure he'll be on the lookout for them and hopefully be better equipped to handle it.
If they play a 43 type of defense though, the Ravens can still use those chop blocks but just not as often unless you keep people in to help chip the free pass rusher.
They may be cheap, but they are legal.
I'm still surprised about that, since you can't even tackle a receiver coming over the middle anymore, but they are allowed to chop your knees when someone else has your shoulders.
Best way to beat the chop block is penetration. Once the blocker gets the defender moving laterally, a cut block is relatively easy to execute. However, if the defender gets penetration, it makes the cut block almost impossible to execute.
The Steelers DL will be ready for that this week.....I'm not worried about this game even if Woodley is out....I'm confident in LeBeau coming up with something brilliant to stop Ray Rice......With out Rice then Flacco is complete horse ****...lol
The chop blocking and zone blocking methods that the Ravens used caught the Steelers off guard in week 1. Although it's nothing new, most teams just don't use that tactic when running against the Steelers very often. Now that they've had a chance to see it a few times this year and deal with it they'll be prepared should the Ravens line try to do it again. Plus using a 4 man line will help that cause too for the Steelers.
If we can out game plan the Pats we certainly can out plan the shitbirds i think Coach Lakes influence on Coach Lebeau is understated many formations have changed since lake was installed . He has had a dramatic impact on our scheme we are pressing more man to man this allows the pressure the be applied. the sacrifice is the int #s will drop in man coverage
