It really wasn't. It was helmet to helmet. Hate that it's even a penalty, but it is what it is.

That being said, if you're gonna call that, you have to call Lewis' hit on Ward. More violent and Ward got hurt as a result.

exactly and that is what drives me nuts........the helmet to helmet call is so damn inconsistent......Ward was knocked out of the game and no flag...lol

But how many times have we seen this type of game tonight with the Ravens winning a low scoring ugly game and the Steelers comeback making clutch plays in key moments.......We're winning this game...I have no doubt in my mind.....

My only big complaints are the no call helmet to helmet on Ward and if Ben would have waited on second and goal, Mendy was peeling away and was wide open. Other than that, typical Ravens/Steelers.

If you're measuring just by no TDs, then yes they did their job.

However, in all other measurements, they sucked monkey balls.

* 7-11 on 3rd down conversions against, including many long ones.
* 38 plays and over 18 minutes of possesion against us.
* 144 Yards passing by Bert.
* Only 1 sack and almost no pressure on said Bert.

I absolutely despise the brand of football Goodell and company are trying to shove down our throats.

It's now reached the point where you have to pray you're in PERFECT position to tip a pass, because god forbid you nick an offensive player or else it's pass interference or holding and an automatic first down.

Collinsworth nailed it..."In ANY OTHER ERA, that's a great play by Clark."
