How many wins for Whiz as 1st yr HC?

How do you think Whiz will do? How well do we WANT him to do?

Let us know what your best guess is. Might be interesting to come back after next season to see how well we all did.

I don't blame at all for taking the Cards job. I didn't expect him to wait on the Rooney's to make their minds up. When a HC job presents itself in the NFL you have to act quickly. Whiz didn't jump to the Falcons job and waited for the Rooney's but the Rooney's waited to have a second round of interivews. Which is their right to do so. But I wish Whiz well if I think if he fixes the Cards offensive line. They might suprise in 2007.

But I say 6-8 wins tops.

The Cardinals are a team that has been hyped every year for the past 2-3 years and they always fall flat! Whiz has taken over a good situation here in Arizona and he shouldn't have to do much but vamp up the O-Line! I see if him falling in the range of 7-9 to 9-t range.

I don't blame him either B @G. He waited a long time for the opportunity to coach for us, and I think there's no way that he went ahead with the Cards job unless he knew by either something the Rooneys said or did, or by gut feeling, that they weren't gonna hire him.

I agree with your numbers as well--the first year can be a tough transition for coach AND players--especially a 1st yr HC.

I'm sure he had some insight that he was not going to get the Steelers HC position. Remember he has the same agent as Grimm. But I do wish him well. Congrats to Whiz for becoming a head coach in the NFL!!!

5-11 his first season. I think it will take the team a little time to adjust to his plans.

6-10 at the most I would think. That offensive line they have is terrible, it's going to take atleast a year or 2 to get the right personnel and give them time to work together and gel.
