I'd like to see more of the Miller/saunders combo underneath catch it short and punish. One is 6'5"256 the other is 6'5" 270 THAT'S HUGE COMPARED THE A slot corner and troble for any LB
This is a classic case of keeping Brown in the slot where he creates mismatches for defenses. Like Welker, he is more effective in the slot vs being on the outside.
Between Sanders, Brown, and Cotchery, whoever knows the playbook the best and appears to be the most polished should play. Would think it would be Brown, but what do I know?
I think Manny should start. He's faster and a better route runner than AB
id like to point out that mike wallace became a man last year against the patriots....fighting for yards, running all the routes, going over the middle, and just doing it all....ward was knocked out of that game as well, so ward being out maybe we really get to see sanders and brown do work against this shaky secondary
cotchery also looked a little shaky last week in limited action....had 2 drops didnt he?
He did but wasn't that limited action and two targets practically his only playing time this year? I think I would have less of an issue about starting sanders over cotchery if we weren't playing the pats. On the other hand this could be good for Sanders' development. IDK, I'm all over the place on this one.
