AFC North Teams Rank 1, 2, 3, 4 in Total Defense

Just an interesting stat that I stumbled upon on NFL.com

1. Ravens
2. Bengals
3. Steelers
4. Browns

I'm not sure how this makes me feel. Steelers and Ravens being in the top 5 has been a given for the last few years, but seeing the Bengals and Browns being right up there with them was a bit of a surprise to me. I'll admit, I haven't really been keeping tabs on the Browns or Bengals game unless they're on TV here, so I didn't really understand how either of them have been winning so many games and keeping up with the Steelers and Ratbirds. I guess now I have my answer. Defense.

The Bengals have a decent defense but I'm not sold on them by any stretch. Everybody keeps riding their bandwagon but they'll come back to earth sooner or later. The Browns don't concern me either. If they had an even remotely tough schedule they'd be 1-6 or 2-5 right now. Same with the Bengals.
