When did the Steelers hire a bunch of coaches from the Washington Generals? It's like they have malicious intent with some of their moves. Alright, you bring back Starks. Very happy with the move. Playing him at RT even makes sense, because he could excel there. You keep Scott in, though? Why not play the rookie and get him experience at the position he has experience in? There is absolutely no way he could perform worse than Scott; that's a fact.
scott playing LT is them saying it as a formality...its only a matter of time before he gets hurt from being stepped on after he gets put on his ass, fakes an injury after being put on his ass too much, or just gets yanked from being on his ass to much or failing to get in the way of a defender at all
WTF? Why are the coaches so stubborn? If we all can see that Scott sux, you know they see it too. I don't get why they refuse to make changes.
They dont want to make changes because according to Mike Tomlin no matter who is in there the standard is still the standard. Tomlin expects guys who suck like Scott to perform better then they are capable of even though they have no chance of doing so. My line combinations with Max Starks back would look like this and if they would give this line a try and let it co-exist for a few weeks it might be decent and develop some chemistry. My line consists of Starks,Kemo,Pouncey,Foster, and Gilbert. I'd leave Ramon Foster in at right guard and move Legursky back to the bench. I think a group of those 5 guys gives the Steelers offensive line the best possible chance to be successful this season in the long run.
