yeah, and according to nfl.com we're also #2 def overall. right behind the Bungles.

stats lie. we also have a -10 turn over ratio, dead last. the next worst? at -6. yes, its THAT bad. we're #1 vs the pass simply because no one feels the need to pass on us. ravens dropping 170 rush yards on us? texans for 150ish? Addai for 89 and a TD? unheard of. if seattle didnt suck so badly it would be somewhat worse no doubt.

The Steelers ended up 2010 as #15 against the pass I believe it was. We all know how that turned out. The fact that this team is ranked high on pass defense is a testament to teams not bothering to throw because the run defense is so bad.

It's funny to think about because a novice fan would see those rankings and think our defense is actually pretty good.

Cool now teams can run all over our OLD ASS D line so why throw a ton? And it doesn't hurt the Texans #1 badass WR was out of the game..

Yeah, why bother throwing against us when you can run right up the middle once or twice for a first down. I think we have become used to the offense sucking now and then but this defense hasn't looked this bad in a long time.

We need to fix the offense first and foremost... we can worry about the defense later.

Ben needs time to look right and left.. he is looking for the rushers not his receivers.
I feel bad for him. but if hes the one keeping Arians then he deserves his punishment too.

Other teams actually take what they can get from our defense rather than trying to impose their hard headed game plans on it.

Having a lopsided stat like that doesn't mean anything. Having a #1 run defense and a #15 pass defense means that teams are just passing all over us. Visa Versa means that means are just running all over us. Being #1 in one side of defense doesn't mean much. You have to be #1 on both.
