Why was Moore in?????

Mewelde Moore was in the game for two reasons:

1. He follows his blockers.
2. He lowers his shoulder for yards after contact.

Rashard Mendenhall did neither, and does neither on a regular basis.

Is why Im not a fan of his. There were a cpl runs lastnight when he had a hole to run through for atleast a gain of 7+ and then where does he run, the other way. He dances to much and that spin move drives me nuts.

Rashard Mendenhall is soft. He's expendable once his contract expires.

I don't know that I would call Mendenhall soft. He runs hard, he's got great feet and can burst of speed to run away from anyone. He has been having some problems seeing the holes in the line somewhat, but that's as much the offensive line not creating lanes as much as it is not seeing him.

Plus when Memo came into the game, the defense was much more worn out than they were early on. I'm not saying that's the only reason he was having success though. I've always been a fan of Moore, his value to this team is still clear.

Isn't that something we'd all like to see more of? Redman getting more carries...

We saw a nice balance last week but this week he was barely in the game at all. Redman did have that key 3rd down conversion late in the game which was huge.

Mendenhall simply made every wrong cut he could make last night. He seems to require a bigger and bigger hole and he seems to fail to see beyond the first defender.

the last two seasons mendy showed us what he had and now that our OL looks like crap ev1 has bad stuff to say .. i totally disagree - espec with the fumble stuff .. what happened to all the people on this site who defended him with all the non-sense after the SB .. as for '11, any1 would have fumbled if Ngata got them like that ..

put the other guys in more? wait til teams actually play the run vs. our other two guys .. there is a reason neither of them are starting RBs and a ton of evidence out there why one of them has never sniffed a starting role

I agree about the Ngata fumble but.................Mendy couldn't do a thing last night. Redman and Moore both had key runs and catches in just a few attempts where Mendy couldn't do it with 18 attempts
