Plus what I mean also is that all the slants dont have to go towards the middle, m sure they can throw a pick route in there somewhere with hines picking for Saunders,Brown or whoever.

Most teams play man inside the 10 so they can create a natural "pick" without contact when the outside receiver slants in and the TE or SLot R cuts breaks out underneath the WR route to the inside.

Most teams can't account for the RB in man coverage because it is usually a LB having to cover a RB in the flat. Steelers need to take advantage of these mismatches and adjust accordingly.

Each player specializes in some type of aspect of the game, so let them excel at that specialization.
I truly believe that he is calling certain plays to "keep everyone happy" in the scoring aspect of a game. I personally don't care if Ben throws 5 TD's to Sanders and no one else scores, or if Mendy scores 4 TD's and Ben runs for another, or if Redman scores 3 TD's and Ward just 1 TD. The point is to put it in the endzone as BRC stated anyway possible. I just think he is trying to satisfy everyone's ego or justify their position or playing time by spreading it around. My theory is you go with your hot hand, and check your ego at the door and play as a team to win not pad stats.

That's the problem with BA, he doesn't play to our players strengths, because he doesn't know them and he doesn't exploit a weakness in the opposing defense because he sticks to "his" gameplan no matter what's going on during the game. Sorry Matt but BA sucks and he's a ****ing idiot!!!

I love this. Sounds like Ben and Wallace are really starting to develop a good QB to WR relationship.

That's what you like to see. They knew they'd be able to make the play, and Ben had the confidence to pull the trigger.

Just another example of predictable play calling in the redzone, but atleast this time Ben was able to make something out of it.

Part of the problem is our owner/most of the fanbase has this idea on what Steelers football is........Times are changing and points in the NFL come through the passing game in the NFL today......

As for Rashard he isn't as bad as some make him out to be in short/goal to go situations....He scored very well from inside the five yard last year.......

I don't care personally how they score TD's just as long as the offense scores TD's.....But I would like to see more quick slants in the red zone and get the TE's involved more in the red zone.....

I don't have a problem with Arians redzone players when it's between the 20 and the 5. But it's when they get into the 5 yard line that he becomes the most predictable play caller ever.

Ben doesn't help either, on passing plays in the redzone, there will be times where he has a clear lane to run right into the endzone, but he would rather throw a touchdown, and most of the time he throws an incompletion or gets sacked.

I highly doubt that he would "rather throw a touchdown." If he thinks he can run and get the TD, he'll do it.
