Batch definitely needs the reps. Hopefully he doesn't get tackled. The team can't afford to be down to one qb.
Im glad to hear this and as well he should get the start..always cool and calm and makes the right veteran decisions.![]()
Thanks Steelers086 for my awesome signature!!!
Thanks for the new avatar SteelerBee!
I'm thinking of driving to Charlotte to see if Coach Tomlin will let be take a few snaps at QB. As much as we don't want BR getting hurt, I don't want to see Charlie go down either. I'm willing to take a beating so our QBs stay healthy. I'll sign a one-day contract if necessary.
Me too!! I'm only a couple hours away, I could get up there and bridge the gap![]()
Hell, I figure I can get a few completions and probably a TD pass!! The way I figure it is, all I gotta do is chuck it towards the endzone and Brown will come down with it!
If Jamarcus Russell can take snaps in this league then so can I...... I'm overweight, a little lazy, don't fully grasp offensive schemes , and like codeine!![]()

I don't understand all the love for him, I have no faith in Batch. Last year he sucked against the Ravens, sucked worse against the Titans and was decent against TB. I don't think he played the 2 previous years and threw a total of maybe 100 passes the previous 5 or 6 years. He's a great local guy and good story, but there has to be a better option.

The Steelers love their veterans, you have to think they want Batch back there over Dixon right now. Playing behind a make shift offensive line though, in preseason scares me for Charlie. I really hope Tomlin doesn't keep him in too long.
