18-14 is hardly anything to write home about, and it's not like it's that hard to qualify for the playoffs in the NFC, it's been that way for a long time now. Also consider that Gailey inherited alot of very special players there when he took over that team and they still didn't blow the doors off anybody.

GT is a good team but they are hardly a stellar powerhouse that everybody fears and admires.

All Im saying is I just don't think he's all that when it comes to being an NFL coach and he's not anywhere in my top 5 choices; not that it's up to me anyways but its my opinion.

I've been keeping my cool these past couple of weeks. I was hoping for either Whiz or Grimm but now Whiz is gone and Grimm hasn't been announced as HC either. The more time goes by I'm hoping and praying the Rooneys are waiting for the Bears to lose and announce Rivera HC. I DO NOT!!! DO NOT want to see Gailey or Sherman as HC. No matter what happens the Steelers have been my one and only football team, it'll stay that way.....

Unless they have some inside track to Rivera, waiting for him is a risky shot because other teams will want his services too.
