Only positive thing is maybe we won't get burned on Special teams so much. I agree, more goodell ball. Isn't that why we watch football?

Also tired of hearing about Jeff Reed. The guy is gone. He lost it. Couldn't even make an extra point last year. I hear guys telling me, Reed would have made that kick in the sb last year. Ya maybe 3 or 4 years ago. He became a liability. I don't think suisham is the greatest, but Reed was done.

This gives me a chance to live my dream of being a kickoff specialist. I could probably pin teams inside the 50 with this rule.

the Pittsburgh Power could use a kicker, LOL.

I wonder if the Rooney's were one of the owners that voted against this new rule. I'll have to see if I can dig that up.

To Suisham's credit, his kicks were into the endzone, it's the coverage teams that couldn't tackle. Even the one that was returned out to midfield was booted about 8 yds deep I believe. That's typical though for preseason, special teams are filled with guys trying to make the team and mistakes always happen.

not to mention that when a team scores, we'll get to sit through 5 minutes of commercials, come back to action to see a touchback, and sit through another 5 minutes of commercials.
