3 cups frozen hash brown, shredded potatoes not the patties
1/3 cup marg
1 cup chopped ham
1/2 cup chopped bacon
1/2 cup crumbled sausage
1/4 cup mushrooms onions and peppers
1/2 cup of milk
1 cup of shredded sharp cheese
thaw potatoes beetween layers of paper towels, drain excess water
Press potatoes onto bottoma nd sides of a pie plate, drizzle with melted butter and bake at 425 for 25 mins. remove from over when potatoes are crisp and brown. put meat and vegt mixture on potatoes sprinkle with half of cheese. Scramble eggs with milk and pour over top. Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 350 for 25 mins.
this recipe is so easy to make for a crowd. I never have made it this small int he pie plate just adjsut ingred to size casserole you want to make. Also, after bakingthe hash browns and filling with meat, veggies and cheese this can be refrigerated over night or until you are ready to top siwth eggs and bake. I usually make ahead the night before feeding a crowd, (esp Easter brunch) and then in teh morning top with egg mixture and bake.. So simple and yet soooo good... Enjoy!!
