Steelers sign CB Kevin Dockery

Kevin Dockery was signed today by the Steelers.

He could be someone that challenges for the NB spot in the secondary pretty soon. He's got experience, playing in the Super Bowl for the Giants in 2007.

Im actually starting to feel a bit better now about the secondary...Cant wait to see what he does thursday night!!!

I don't know how much Dockery or Macho Harris will play on Thursday night. They might be able to go out late in the game and get some reps in but they have no idea what the playbook is or how the Steelers run defense.

I am interested to both of these guys, neither one is a slouch by any means and depending on how injuries shake out the rest of preseason one or both of these guys could be on the roster.

I just can't shake my horrible feelings about the past performances of Gay...at this point Im sorry but anyone is better than this dude....Sick of him getting lit up, we will never survive if he's a out deep...and we have an easier schedule than most.

With the signings of Dockery and Harris I think Gay will be cut and brinkley and allen will be on the practice squad so it will look like this
Taylor/lewis LCB McFadden/butler RCB
nickleback
brown/dockery
practice squad Cortez allen/Niles Brinkley

this...absolutely cannot stand gay in coverage...
