I like that they are good enough to beat the Pats but not good enough to beat us.
I also agree 100% on ranking #92 as the best LB in football. If other teams held Willis, Lewis, etc. like that they would have 3 sacks on the year.

I like big hits and I cannot lie
Flacco is stable at qb. better than what they've had over the years. They won the sB with Trent Dilfer for christs sake. They've had Elvis Grbac, Kyle boller, one good year left in aging Steve Mcnair.
But I agree Flacco is average at best. He can't beat big ben.
I like Lamar, but not a good idea to insite our rivals.
Cleveland Browns suck!

I kind of hate it but I kind of like it. We get into their heads and they know that somehow....just somehow we will beat them. When Troy blitzed and knocked the ball free I screamed FINALLY....it was the play we needed and I just knew we would beat them. We own them, we will always own them, it was so sad to see our backup QBs not able to close the deal in week 4, but we all knew that when Ben was back they would be our bitch once again.
I really think that Woodley saying this can only help because God knows they want to beat us...they want it more than a SB ring. But the reality is they know in their heart that when Ben is starting they had better kill him or else they will LOSE. Have I mentioned that I cannot wait for week 1? 1-0 will be soooo sweet.

Flacco is one of the best players for the Steelers right now! The way Flacco always throws that timely interception to our secondary is a work of art.
Flacco is so valuable to us that we should give him a Steelers jersey with his name and number on it. He was argueably our MVP last season. Long live Flacco!!
The Steeler way...is the only way.
Flacco is Ben's bitch..however I would prefer that Woodley keep it to himself.![]()
Flacco is a slightly above average QB. He makes some great plays at, but he cannot be depended upon to make big plays when the game is on the line on a consistent basis. He is the best QB the Ravens have had in a long time, if not ever. As a result, the Ravens hang all of their hopes on him every year, hoping he has that "breakout year." In the meantime, the Ravens make all kinds of excuses (I know, I live just outside of Baltimore). A little late for that. I think he as already defined himself this late in his career, and he ain't gonna get that much better at his point.
Game after game he comes out flat-footed, uninspired, and moves in an automaton manner. He is no leader, that is for sure. As has been discussed adnauseum, the Ravens stacked their team with "star receivers" and still no luck. I say they give up on him in the next year or two. It will be interesting to see who they for a real competition at starting, not a predetermined second stringer.
At some point, Ben will lose to Flacco. Statistics will bear that out. Baltimore will celebrate like they won the Super Bowl. However, Ben will dominate.
I feel the Ravens and Steelers are evenly matched in many areas. I remember hearing a comparison on their defensives stats in the last decade. They were literally first and second in the league in a bunch of stats. However, Ben has x-factor, he will do whatever it takes to win a game. Flacco is a one trick pony.
I look forward to the next match!
Long live Joe Flacco. He's the type of insurance we need on the Ravens so we can keep beating them. I can't wait to see Hayward laid on top of Flacco. Just my way of letting Flacco know that the Steelers good times will continue.
The Steeler way...is the only way.
Every Steelers team has a fiery, speak your mind, wear your heart on your shirt sleeve, emotional type of player. From Lambert, to Lloyd, to Porter, to Woodley and Harrison. I think it's almost a given that the Steelers defense will have someone that will stir the pot.
On NFL Network the other day they asked Hines Ward about Flacco. He handled it more diplomatically of course than Woodley did, but he's never been a big trash talker anyway.
Uh Oh, Joey is pissed off:
