They very well may have been I'm not saying you are wrong. I'm in South Jersey which is a different world compared to North Jersey.

You guys have never heard of disco fries? I thought they were a pretty well known food around the east coast. Maybe it's just all the Man v. Food/Food Paradise/Diners Drive-Ins and Dives that I watch
