Put a fork in him.

Put a fork in him.
That ship has sailed.
Bring him in as a mentor and training camp body. Evaluate what he's got to give in TC, and then consider him for a roster spot. Not likely to make it, but at least we now know he wants to.
Also, it wouldn't hurt to have him in case of an injury or the team decides to take a drastic measure with Mendenhall. Personally, I don't think the team will release/trade him, but I guess there's always a possibility.
Finally, if we do let go of Mewelde, I'd be even more inclined to bring Parker in. Would probably cost less than what Moore does, and he's a veteran.
I'd just like to see him play again after a good old rest. No football for a while will have undoubtedly helped his body, so let's see what he's got left in the tank. He didn't play a single game for Washington, and the last game he played against us, he ran for 91 yards on 12 carries against the Dolphins.
All in all, he'd probably just be a training camp body to give motivation to Jonathan Dwyer and Baron Batch to play well early on.
Lay off Willie guys. He's telling it like it is and it's the truth. Nothing compares to our franchise and it's nice to hear.
Plus don't forget the guy's contribution to this team.
And we do need a 3rd down back. You never know.
One thing I have to say about Willie comments: DUH
Poor Willie, not even the Skins were willing to pay you big money. I loved watching 39 in his earlier days, I hope he ends up in the NFC so I can cheer for him again.
I like big hits and I cannot lie
