Steel Hurtin: Pittsburgh Draft Preview: Jimmy Smith | DB | Colorado

    Name: Jimmy Smith
    School: Colorado
    Height: 6’2”
    Weight: 205 Lbs.
    40 Yard Dash: 4.49
    Projected Round: 1st
He's got the size and speed to make an impact in our defensive, plus the physicality to keep on the Steelers tradition of run stopping corners.

Quite a dilemma Ravens got. How to annoy Steelers most: Take Pouncey or take their targeted CB.

However much you think you know about football, rest assured that Skip Bayless knows more!

I have heard the knock on Smith is that he doesn't get off blocks and stop the run. Have any of you guys watched him play and is that a fair criticism or is it just some guy trying to fill the article with details?

I think it will be interesting to see who the Cowboys take. They need help at O line and DB too. They could start a run on either the O line or secondary.

I would love for us to take a corner like Jimmy Smith if he is available when we pick at 31. However, character issues could cause him to be a high risk prospect. But if he is there, I think we should take the chance. We could also get another corner in the 3rd or 4th round.
