If we pick an OLB....

Anyone seen this kid out of Nevada? Dontay Moch? He was clocked in the 4.3 neighborhood prior to his senior season and comes off the edge like a mo'fo. Most of the pundits have him going 3rd-4th round. I realize this isn't a 'need' position, but knowing that we almost always take an LB in the draft, he might be a nice selection.

NO, we have enough OLB's and had to let Thadd Gibson go this year because were very deep there

he is a little undersized, but i agree - he definitely comes off the ball like a mofo ..

we are going to keep drafting at that position until we get solid depth imo .. im expecting us to draft at least one at the spot ..

NO, the Steelers let Gibson go, because they made a stupid personel move, "hoping" that AS would make it back for the playoffs. Even if they knew he would come back, there were several other better options to drop. This one will come back to haunt the Steelers.

Steelers dropped Gibson because he was behind in the playbook due to his late arrival to the team.(college rules on trimesters put him behind the 8 ball) It was a Stupid release.
Dontay Moch is nice and I can see them snatching him late but I think they need more ILB's not OLB's & xtra DB's(fs/ss/cb).
We need to improve the height,speed & cover skills of our DB's.

We are very thin there, not deep, we have 1 back-up.

Again, just tossing this out there based simply on the fact that we almost ALWAYS pick a backer somewhere in the draft and he seems like a guy who could be a decent reserve guy with speed like that.

and that statment needs to be made vs the pats. call me crazy but i dont think another LB is going to make that statement.

but setting aside my bitterness for a moment i do love me some linebackers.
