William Gay & the Secondary

Can we now find a replacement for William Gay. Just please get rid of him.

We said the same thing last year going into the draft and we are saying it again. Please draft CB in the first round.

The secondary today was unable to step up. That big 3rd down play late in the game was on Ike Taylor. Clark and Bmac were out of position or playing way too far off on too many occasions. Gay was picked on today as was McFadden. Gay had a decent year really, he improved as the year went on and he was key in our playoff wins.

Today though the entire secondary is to blame, not just Gay.

It's an absolute joke that he receives a paycheck and I find it impossible to believe that he is the best they can come up with. He is always 1-2 yards away from the receiver he is supposed to be covering. Might as well just blitz him every single time because the only way his receiver isn't catching the ball is if the quarterback doesn't throw it to him.

Give the Packers credit. Rogers was spot on today. They deserved the win. The Steelers played flat at the beginning and at the end. The Packers wanted it more today.

The entire secondary was crap tonight. But, William Gay has been crap all year long.

Gay let us down huge tonight... but nobody in our entire secondary played well. We do however need to draft someone in the first or second, he got burned 4 or 5 times tonight and it costs us, we will be back though. Go Steelers!!!

I couldn't believe how they let some of the recievers get open the way they did. Unacceptable. But, the game is over so whatever i say won't change a thing. Great effort by the Steelers. Just not enough. Thanks for a great season.
