PG's Ron Cook: Harrison was Too Sarcastic

    http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/11033/1122316-66.stm

First of all, can one really be too sarcastic??? I understand where Cook is coming from in the article from a medical issue standpoint, but was he not listening to anything Harrison said? This is a classic example of a journalist writing based on a preconceived notion and not thinking one damn bit about what the subject has stated. In the end, it will just fire up Silverback even more which is fine with me.

If his only fines were from the Browns game where he gave MM a concussion, I agree with Cook, that would be unclassy, but his hits on Fitzpatrick and Campbell (I think) were legal hits and worthy of much sarcasm.

Ron Cook still having a job after all these years is the biggest joke.

You got to have the thought, James Harrison has saved his best for the Super Bowl. He's going to let everyone know he is no joke and means serious business. The ferocious hits are coming packers. Consider yourself warned.

I love how he handled the question about the $100k. I would have said it the same way. I was laughing my arse off. When i get to buying another jersey, it will be 92 baby.

I also believe the hit on Brees was legal and the penalty and/or fine was BS!!

I have respect for Cook and his articles but I think he is way on this. First off Harrison was joking around when he made those comments, but regardless it's not like it isn't true. In my mind Goodell and the NFL deserve to take one on the chin this year and if Harrison wants to say it, more power to him. Sarcastic or not, so what...

Eh, I kind of like it. I think he is attempting to voice his anger in a receptive fashion. Hopefully he's still got a lot of that anger bottled up though.
