    I must admit there were some lean times in the '80's when I was really questioning whether they could get back to championship form. Such as when all they had was (shudder) Lois Lipps.

    It really helps bring into perspective just how fortunate we are as Steeler fans to have owners like Rooney's who know how to pick coaches to lead our Steelers to so much success. We are truly blessed to be fans of such a respected and flat out epic franchise.

    For the sake of accuracy, the Steelers won three division titles in the 1980's, not four. That'd make for 22 division titles since 1970.

    They only had 2 division titles in the 80's.....
