I love Pouncey but Legursky is a serviceable back up

Legursky did a Fine Job and held his own.
When a new Center goes into the game you can almost expect issues with the QB-Center exchange. Thank goodness
there was only one botched snap that only cost them a Safety.

He held his own for sure, but he's no Pouncey!

I have always been a Doug Legursky fan....Ask Ktrain and some of the other older SA members on here.........Never thought he would be a great center by no means but a solid backup that can spot start if needed.......I'm glad he is still on the roster and contributing since he wasn't drafted in the first place.......Really this patchwork OL has been solid all year.....I think OL coach Sean Kugler has done one hell of job with this rag tag group........Pouncey no doubt makes the entire OL better but considering the musical chairs along the OL the job Kugler has done to get these guys ready to play is impressive......

There was but the first one was on Ben.....The 2nd one was clearly on Doug since it looked he snapped the ball into Ben's thigh........ But that is to be expected when a new center enters the game.......Ben was use to have having his hands under Pouncey's butt most of the time this year.....

We should all be greatful for such a versatile lineman like Legursky. He bailed us out all year long playing Center, Guard, Tackle, and Fullback. He is the exact player that the Steelers always love to have, a guy that can play multiple positions and do them well.

Aside from the bad snap in the endzone (the first fumbled snap was on Ben), I think Legursky did very well considering the importance of the game. While he is not as good as Pouncey, I think he is a very serviceable backup. I really like how strong this guy is; he is a beast in the gym and I think that physical strength allows him to overcome other areas of his game.

He almost snapped the ball thru Bens legs and could have cost us a TD and the game. That's about as far from clutch as you can possibly get.

I don't think we are going to reach a concensus in here on his role last night, but what I found this year is that when we needed someone to step in and take another position on the line, he and others always did it to the best of their abilities and in more than a few cases, they certainly (in total as a line) exceeded expectations, even when you throw the mistakes in there. Our O-line is like the Steelers in general. They always seem to do just enough to win the game.

If we donated a nickel for every "OMG" or "&hit" post that hit the boards when Pouncey, Flo or others went down this year, we could pay all Harrisons fines from Gooddell Castro. We anticipated the line parting like the Red Sea, yet, somehow, we still won.

Now go draft us a left tackle we can love for 10 years.
