It would seem that Steelers don't like Powe all that much, because LeBeau said that they do need to get a new NT, and I don't see how they would think he is going to fall into them in the fifth.

I agree with you on Cannon & pup list IR but Disagree with you about the pick. I love that we took Cortez Allen. I thought it was going to be Burton.

I honestly don't know anything about Cortez Allen......so its really hard for me to say anything about him.....Only thing I question is taking him to early......Was there a good chance Allen would have been there in rounds 5-7?.......

He had a Great Senior Bowl Week, He's from the Citadel so he's SMART & DISCIPLINED.

Good question He might of but many were high on him. I'll admit I was sitting there saying Come On Take Cannon NOW. Then went OK we need him and he was a Draft Visit.

Let's hope they saw something they liked in him because they had a chance to take other players. We had some later picks pay off last year. Let's hope his smarts and discipline help him to cover receivers. If that happens, we'll all be happy.

Another couple good picks and this draft was hugely successful.

I saw Allen's name in a lot of mock drafts in the 3rd and 4th round. The gay is tall with good speed and will hit. I think we may have gotten a gem in the 4th. Plus I think Lebeau is thinkin about A.J ,Greg Little, and Ross coming into our division those are some big boys and we'll need a big corner to progress with them.

He wasn't going to go Undrafted and if he did we couldn't sign him because were in a lockout again.
It GREAT that they are addressing our weak link with both Ike & Gay as free agents. I was looking for Cannon or Sands but I'm happy we got him.

As for Powe He would be nice insurance However, He wasn't a pre draft visit so our NT most likely will be Frank Kearse,Anthony Gray or Zach Clayton. DOnt be surprised if we take Greg Romeus as a 5 tech and move Ziggy to NT.
