How can you deprive this town of their hockey team??? It's just not freaking right. Is it possible Mark Cuban could come back into play? There has to be a way to keep this team in town. Thank God we have Mario leading us or this team would have been gone a long time ago. Some of the money made from the slots should be going to help with the arena.

KDKA said Barden said he will 7.5 million dollars a year for 30 years to build a new arena for the pens for Plan B.

I will be extremely pissed off if the Pens move to Kansas City. I will definitely say Kansas City is a damn pimple on the map of America.

Plan B is a piece of ****. PITG is going to give a whole 7.5 million dollars per year for 30 years. Thanks. That's so much better than $290 million for a fully privately funded arena. Now, obviously they aren't going to wait 30 years to build the arena, so where do they get the money from to start it? The state. And where does the state get it's money from? The taxpayers. Ah, but who cares about the taxpayers, right? I mean, they can vote not to pay for 2 new stadiums, and the politicians can just ignore it. If the politicians want some money, who cares if they have to screw the taxpayers over by making us pay for an arena that should have been free? If they want to give themselves a big raise... oh wait, they didn't get away with that one. Hopefully they won't get away with this one either. I hear Dan Rooney is mad about this because he doesn't want a casino on the North Side, and he thinks (rightly so) that this wasn't the best plan for Pittburgh.
