I definitely feel for the guy, but at least he is getting rings. I would rather get a ring while being on IR than playing for the Panthers all season and get nothing.
I am pretty sure he is very grateful to be a Steeler.
I don't feel for a guy who's getting paid millions of dollars a year to kick a football.
I understand that component; that it is his job. I feel for him on more of a personal level. Having season ending knee injuries twice in your short career and missing out on a chance to play in the Super Bowl on both occasions has to be disheartening for him. I really wonder if things would have unfolded differently for Daniel Sepulveda had the surgery he had in college been better.
