Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison has been fined $25,000 by the NFL for a hit on Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Harrison was flagged for a roughing-the-passer penalty on the play because the officials ruled Harrison led with the crown of his helmet.
The three-time Pro Bowler said Monday that he was not expecting a fine for the hit, since it was similar to a hit on Raiders QB Jason Campbell in Week 11 in which he drew a penalty but not a fine.
"It's the exact thing as last week. It was the same exact hit. I hit him (Fitzpatrick) the same way I did the quarterback from Oakland and I got the same flag but I didn't get a fine. ... I'm expecting the same thing on this."
Harrison has been fined a total of $125,000 for four illegal hits this season
