Manny Sanders forces the fumble on the opening kick off and then Gay with the big block on the next series punt. That's how you use your special teams to get ahead and start dictating the tempo.
The coverage units were top notch most of the night too. I just love finally having a ST unit that is an asset and able to turn a game around.
Special teams is really pretty top notch this year. Sanders gets extra yardage almost every return, they haven't been giving up a return for a touchdown every game (like they have been in previous years), the only component missing is Reed's inability to kick it inside the 10 yard line.
I like Sanders out there, he's becoming a real nice play maker. He needs to learn how to see the field more on returns but he's improving every week. I love what he's doing for us so far.
I love the coverage units even more, these guys are spot on and sure tacklers.
