Not a surprise. Saw this coming since game 5. My only concern is what I'm gonna do now..
We are DONE!

That is true, as hard as this was to watch it would be torture to watch them get killed by the Caps. How during the game ends with us up 2 and we can't even keep it in the zone let alone score.
The season is never a success when you don't win it all. But they did a very god job in the relay season even without Sid & Geno. They will be back, the future is bright.

When 2 of the best players in the world are on your team, and they're both missing, it's hard to get things going. I don't think any one player means more to their team than Crosby does to the Penguins. We obviously learned that this season. Not only do Malkin and Crosby get goals, but they make people around them get goals. Neal didn't do much for us this year, but guaranteed when the team is healthy again and he's paired with Crosby, he'll come through big.
The Pens went as far as they could without their 2 best players and that was game 7 of the first round. It's still damn impressive that they got 106 points when they have been dealing with it since January. But hey this is why they pay Crosby & Malkin the big bucks, when it's crunch time the Pens NEED them. They will be right back in it next season.
