The Flyers are a tough team, but I think Washington would be more difficult for the Penguins to beat considering their scoring on demand. I tell you what, if the Penguins could somehow manage to get through this round and end up upsetting Philly, that would be our equivalent of winning the cup: Knocking a team out of contention. That said, I would rather Philly, Montreal, or Boston make it to the Cup than Washington.
I apologize if my post is incoherent. 6:00am without coffee.![]()
Big game tonight Pens' fans. Best of luck!
For sure. I would like to see some line changes tonight, as well. Replace Kovalev with Tangradi or Comrie (the forgotten man) and Niskanen with Engelland. Supposedly, Comrie is fast, a 30 goal scorer, and he has good puck handling skills. Unfortunately, it is more important to keep continuity in there than to put in someone who actually should have some upside. Oh well, at least our first line will stay as crappy as it has been. I swear, Arians is coming up with the lines.
Definitely. Those three are the only players on this team that I look at and actually perceive to be trying hard, although the third line isn't two far off. The first and second are different stories, though. I think they are trying at the beginning of games, but if they don't come to a quick two goal lead, it's like they fall asleep.
The only reason I would say the Flyers is because my daughter face and body paints at the games...so every game they get is more $$ for her, and less she wants from dad!
Look for Kovy to be the star tonight! You'll all be glad Dan didn't take your advice!
I would have loved to stayed up and watch the Blackhawks game lastnight. It doesn't get much better than that series.
