    NFL Network on the Web

I found this message on another forum. I am going to give it a shot and see if it really works...

Since I don't have the NFL Network, I started searching for live feeds.

Well, I stumbled upon this site: http://www.streamednfl.blogspot.com/

Which has many links to the games. (I haven't tried the TVAnts yet, since SopCast Worked so well).

In order to watch them, you must download a program called SopCast, which can be found here:http://www.sopcast.org/

Once installed, click on the SopCast link for tonights game (Browns at Pitt).(Browns at Pitt)

I logged in anonymously and I am watching the pregame right now. The game starts in at about 8:00 pm tonight (eastern time).

Hope this helps some peeps out. I know it did for me

    Later - tripp

The software works. Kinda. I am unable to get the NFL channel right now. It says its offline. I think the awareness of this software became viral today and there may be more people trying to watch the NFL channel this way then can be handled. I can watch a ton of other channels (the handball channel ). The video quality is pretty poor but its better than watching a box score.

I am not sure how legal it is. I can't imagine the NFL endorses this kind of stuff. Maybe thats why it went offline. But the people broadcasting it would be the ones violating law, not those watching it.

The other forum I found this on is duscussing the problem with the NFL channel right now. I'll monitor and let you know if they figure anything out.

Its a P2P network. I can't find the NFL channel now. Its no longer an option.

I did just watch the end of the Suns Nets game in double overtime (Suns won 161-157).

Pretty cool service. I just hope they get the NFL network running...
